Ms. Mercati wrote back again.
I do think brainstorming with the guys, letting them talk and feel out their characters, and remember they need someone to put down to feel better about their low place in life, would help. And also to emphasize the poverty and sadness they live in, and see no way out but obeying the bosses.Hope this helps. My growing up was so different. My high school was the last school to be integrated in Chicago and those were hard, horrible times, guns, the whole bit, white guys blocking the entrances, black girlsbeing harassed, people yelling at teenagers just trying to get into school. It just all stems out of ignorance.Cindy

  2. Well, I want to apologize on behalf of us softball girls that we weren't able to be at practice tonight... We REALLY wanted to.

On the bright side, we won the game. =)

But, like I said, we're sorry we couldn't be there tonight.

I hope everyone got better and I'm ready for practice on Sunday! See you guys there!
I'm gonna miss everyone while I'm in College Station! =(

  5. Our guy actors could use some room for improvement. They need more facial expressions for when they're NOT saying their lines. Their faces ar ecompletely blank.

  7. What Garrett said is applicable to everyone's character. A blank canvas is not as interesting as one with color, shapes, etc. The same applies to faces.
