awww thanks mrs. couch and im glad to help anyway i can... and im sorry i keep correcting yall but its just those little lines yall are missing its not a big deal at all!! =1 and yes im happy both emily and shelbi for coming sick and kayla you are a trooper
ReplyDeletei love everyone and sorry if i do bug yall with my criticing
Ah, yes! It's always a good thing when the critiques start getting shorter, but we still have TONS to work on so everyone keep up the hard work!
ReplyDeleteAnd Alli, you keep on critiquing us! Be RUTHLESS! You're a huge asset to us. =)
Everyone else, if you do start to get frustrated with the critiques, just remember... It's all for the play. To make us the best we can be. It's not personal so don't take it that way. And when you are told to fix something, do it.
Just to reiterate something that Freida said:
To make this play it's VERY BEST, we all have to give 1000%! Yes... 1000. Not 100... 1000! When you recieve critiques, make a note of them and take that home and work on it. Freida said that we have to do work outside of rehearsal to make this great and she's right. Don't wait until the next practice to start fixing things. Start as soon as you get your critiques.
We've memorized the lines, we finally decided on our stage, we've got the blocking down... NOW it's time to PERFECT everything. Cleaning it up can be the hardest part. It's repetitive, it's hard, and it takes alot of work. But it's worth it when it finally comes together.
We can do this guys, I know we can. But we have to WORK. I love you all and I can't wait till thursday so I can be with my family (YOU GUYS) again!
Great! Alli you are Awesome!!!

YAY for Alli!!! And thank you to shelbi and emily for coming to practice sick! And kayla, great job on just walking it off! Keep up the hard work, guys!
ReplyDeleteawesome! kayla's got a good point :) something else i thought about...the girls, we havent really been focusing on the weather very much. when its august and hot we need to look like were hot..wiping our forehead, fanning ourselves...and then later when were freezing we need to see the contrast.
ReplyDeleteit's a little thing, but its the little things that make the big thing KICK AWESOME!!!
love you all
Next time its cold I say all us girls go outside and just look at the way we act in the cold and everything. I know it sounds silly but its about making it real and if we can remember what being cold looks like, it will make it that much more convincing. I don't know just an idea! But great job everybody you're welcome for coming sick even if I infect anyone and I am very proud of Shelbi she really didnn't feel well..And Kayla..I don't know what happened but good job ha! Also everyone remember to respect the sound and stage crew! They work so hard and they deserve all our respect!!! Everyone think about their characters outside of school you have to be able to get on that stage and BE your character!! But remember that acting is not totally about becoming someone else, its about bringing yourself into your character to really make them a unique person!!! These people are based on real people, so lets do them justice! Yay I love One Act!!!!
ReplyDeleteYa'll did great yesterday... and Thanks to everybody for being so patient with me and that CD player!! :]
